A Long Flight Fuel Guide: Find Kerosene and Refuel
Find kerosene at gas stations, carry a canister to the plane, and pour it into the tank in A Long Flight.
Find kerosene canisters at gas stations along your route. To refuel your plane, pick up a canister, carry it to the red fuel cap on the side marked CARGO, and hold R when the pour prompt appears.
Before your first flight, check the tank readout or cockpit fuel gauge: the starting plane's tank can already be full, so you may not need to add kerosene before taking off.
Where to find kerosene
Land near a gas station and clear the zombies guarding it before searching inside. Kerosene canisters have been found at gas stations. Stay alert while looting: zombies can respawn over time.
Kerosene canisters hold up to 20L. Keep an eye on the cockpit fuel gauge as you travel, and plan a stop for fuel while you still have enough to land.
How to pour fuel into the plane
- Look at a kerosene canister and press F to pick it up.
- Carry it to the plane's red fuel cap on the side marked CARGO.
- Look for the readout showing the canister and tank levels, then hold R to pour. Check the tank readout to see its fuel level; the starting plane's tank has a capacity of 100L.
The held canister also has an R prompt to drink from it, so make sure you are at the fuel cap and see Hold [R] to pour before holding the key. The held-item prompt also offers Q to attach the canister to the plane.
When you're ready to fly, see the engine-start guide and takeoff guide.
